For a technical issue, include enough context to reproduce it without sending private source photos.
- Your iPhone model and iOS version.
- The app version shown in Settings.
- Whether the photos came from Photos, Files, or the clipboard.
- The quality, resolution, save destination, and metadata choices you used.
- The steps that led to the problem and any message shown by the app.
Please do not attach personal photos unless they are necessary to explain the issue and you are comfortable sharing them.
Photo access
If Photos is unavailable, check the app's photo permission in iPhone Settings and select the images again. You can still import from Files or paste an image from the clipboard when photo-library permission is denied.
Finding converted JPGs
Check the destination selected before conversion. Results sent to Library appear in Photos. Results sent to Files appear in the folder chosen in the Files picker. Conversion creates JPG copies and does not delete the original HEIC photos.
Conversion history
Completed conversions are stored locally so you can return to recent work. Individual items can be removed from history, and the full history can be cleared through Settings → Clear history. Local history is automatically deleted after 30 days.
Privacy questions
Conversion happens on your iPhone and does not require uploading photos. Read the complete privacy policy, or email support@heic-converter.app with a question.
